INTENSIVE COURSES

For anyone wanting to learn in a hurry I can offer an intensive course based on 20 hrs of tuition spread over a 3-4 week (or longer if preferred) period.The lessons normally are of a duration of 1.5/ 2hrs per day.

I find this "semi-intensive" approach better and more effective than the 1 week, 5-6 hr a day course, as it allows the pupil more time to absorb and digest the information and skills being taught.The shorter day reduces the risk of the pupil getting tired/stressed and therefore losing concentration, resulting in a slower rate of learning.

The advantage of this course is, it has the flexibility to allow a pupil who may be struggling to reach the required standard of driving, the opportunity to have extra tuition if deemed necessary- hence the pupil should have enough time to be well prepared to take and pass the test- a luxury not always afforded by the 1 week intensive option.

I must stress that most pupils will struggle to reach the required standard in just 20hrs, however the cost of any extra lessons will be subject to a discount of 10% off my normal hourly rate to help minimise the cost.
